WoW Account Merging

Hello,

when I try to merge 2 of my WoW accounts together (I'm unsure whether this means either battle.net account) but I enter it and it says it is invalid and I am unsure why. Can anybody tell me what I am actually meant to do because it's confusing me and my head hurts from it and I want to know how I merge 2 accounts together.

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
