Arguably the most popular expansion pack for World of Warcraft, Wrath of the Lich King will return in all its classic glory. Will you play WotLK again?
This is WotLK: the second expansion pack for the popular MMORPG, originally released on November 13th, 2008 to the great anticipation of Warcraft fans. So much so that in many cities long lines are forming outside stores as people try to get their copy of the expansion as soon as possible.
Next week, on September 27th, 2022, the king returns and many fans will head to northern Azeroth once again to relive the feeling of "back then".
WotLK is one of the most popular expansion packs for World of Warcraft.
However, not everything in classic WotLK is exactly the same as in the original version. There are some optimizations and some features have been carried over from retail. These include, for example
The ability to change races and factions
Dungeon Probes will not be available
The Winter Embrace Lake Battlefield is not an open PvP area, etc.
